Our latest online event on 14 July clearly struck a (vocal) c(h)ord, with a large live audience joining the session on vocal care. Don’t forget that RSCM members can watch back all our online sessions through the ever-growing Members Area - where there is plenty more to explore, including CMQ Digital and podcast content. The northern-hemisphere summer break offers an ideal opportunity to have a look.

Meanwhile, scroll on for news, invitations and inspiration. As always, we warmly welcome your engagement, by email, phone or via social media.

A CENTENARY EVENT
FOR THE DIARY
Photogrpah of the recording session in Liverpool

With the RSCM’s 2027 Centenary fast approaching, preparations are gathering pace: and there will be plenty more to share over the coming months. Recently, some of the choristers of Liverpool Anglican Cathedral joined Hugh to record a track for use during the celebrations next year. Liverpool will host a major celebration weekend from 8–10 October 2027 - definitely an early date for your diary!

COME & SING WITH THE RSCM
Come and sing evensong photo

Our Come & Sing events continue to grow in popularity, and we're pleased to be offering a wide range of opportunities over the coming months. Whether you're an experienced chorister or simply enjoy singing, these events bring people together in churches across the country to explore inspiring music under the direction of experienced conductors. Music for some events is available in advance to help you prepare.

AND FINALLY...
Picture postcard

Many of you will be enjoying a holiday over the coming weeks. We'd love to see where your travels take you! Send us a holiday snap: perhaps of a church you've visited, a place where you've sung, an organ you've had the chance to play, or even a selfie on a mountain top while reading Church Music Quarterly. Tag us on social media or email your photos to [email protected]. We'll share some of our favourites.
